| Notes | 48 plants total: 24 Opalka (saved seed, paste type) and 24 Rispentomate (cluster/vine type). 2x2x2 factorial design — variety (Opalka/Rispentomate) x biofertilizer (control/treatment) x fish carcass in planting hole (no fish/fish), 6 plants per cell. Single row trellis system. Planted mid-May 2026. TREATMENT APPLICATION PLAN: (1) Soil drench before planting — JLF corn stalk + JLF cabbage combined with JMS to treatment rows; water to control rows. (2) Fish carcass — whole fish carcass placed in planting hole for applicable plots before transplant. (3) Root drench at transplant — JLF + JMS applied to root zone for treatment plants; water for control. (4) Foliar spray throughout season — JMS only, diluted, to treatment plant foliage; no treatment to control. Measuring: fruit yield (count and weight), first fruit date, plant height, pest pressure, disease pressure. |
